Guardians of Tundra

Synopsis
In the frozen heart of Siberia’s tundra, a new generation of Nenets youth stands at the crossroads of tradition and change. Ten years after we first met them as children, they are now teenagers grappling with the choice between staying in the land of their ancestors or venturing to the city for a modern life. As the landscape around them transforms due to climate change and industrial development, their once-stable world is now in flux.
The young guardians face an emotional turmoil as they navigate a future where their cultural roots are threatened by a rapidly changing world. Their journey becomes a poignant exploration of what happens when traditions collide with progress, asking whether the legacy of the tundra can survive and what sacrifices this new generation must make in the process.
